The UNIRAZAK Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme is designed to provide students with the opportunity to complete professional qualification during the three-year programme.

Upon completing the programme, professional bodies such as CIMA, ACCA and CPA Australia may grant exemptions based on their respective requirements.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants may qualify through one of the following recognised academic pathways.

Academic Requirements

  1. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in two subjects; OR
  2. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid (good); OR
  3. A pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with minimum of CGPA of 2.50; OR
  4. A pass in Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR
  5. Diploma in Accounting fields (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment; OR
  6. Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to UNIRAZAK’s Senate / Academic Board’s approval; OR
  7. Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to UNIRAZAK’s Senate / Academic Board’s approval; OR
  8. Possess an Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in accounting or related field with at least a CGPA of 2.50; OR
  9. Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must also have:

  • Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; AND
  • MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent (OR Credit in English at SPM level).

Other Pathways

  • Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by UNIRAZAK’s Senate / competent authority in Malaysia.
  • Possess an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for admission.

Important Notes

Candidates without credit in Mathematics at SPM level and/or without MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent / without credit in English at SPM level need to take and pass the enhancement Mathematics and/or English subject that is equivalent to the SPM level. The enhancement subject must be offered in the first semester or before enrolment with conditional offer.

Students from Matriculation/Foundation, its equivalent or higher qualification can be exempted from taking enhancement Mathematics and English, provided that the Mathematics and English offered at that programme level is equivalent to or more than the requirement specified for this level.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

English Proficiency Requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT MUET Band 3.5 or equivalent to CEFR (High B1)

International students are required to achieve a minimum of Band 3.5 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (High B1).

If a student does not meet this requirement, UNIRAZAK’s Senate must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

Note: A conditional offer letter will be issued to an international student who has not met the English Proficiency Requirement.
